AIR LIQUIDE GHANA
AIR LIQUIDE Ghana was established in 1956 and today employs about 68 people. With presence in all the major cities and towns in Ghana, supported by a network of over 40 distributors, Air Liquide Ghana Limited has since its establishment played a key role in the socio-economic development of Ghana.
From very modest beginnings in Awutu in the Central Region of Ghana, the company has grown from strength to strength and constantly re-aligning itself in line with the development needs and trends in Ghana.
Company’s History:
1956: Started in Awutu in the Central Region of Ghana
1957: Started in Takoradi in the Western region of Ghana
1966: Started operations in the Port City of Tema
1971: Incorporated as a Limited Liability Company
The company obtained an ISO: 9001:2000 Certification in October 2005. A surveillance and re-certification audit conducted in July 2008 was also successful.
Air Liquide Ghana has since 2006 also implemented the Air Liquide Industrial Management System (IMS) which aims at ensuring operational safety, reliability and efficiency. The IMS project has the dual objectives of ensuring that staff have the requisite skills for their jobs and that operational procedures are implemented and followed.
